Big Hit Music said, “This is the first time a singer holds a solo performance at Gwanghwamun Square,” and added, “Through this stage, BTS will set another milestone in Korean cultural history.” In 2020, BTS performed on stage with the Geunjeongjeon Hall of Gyeongbokgung Palace and Gyeonghoeru as the background as part of a special weekly project of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on NBC TV in the United States. This performance, which will be held in the center of downtown Seoul for the first time in about five and a half years, is expected to be a moment to announce a new start for BTS. As the word Arirang has a symbolic meaning, we wanted to hold the first stage in a space that represents Korea." The documentary film 'BTS: THE RETURN', which covers the production process of BTS' new album, will also be released on Netflix on the 27th of next month. The documentary captures the worries that those who are releasing a new album after 3 years and 9 months have experienced while working on music and the process of completing 'now BTS'. BTS' 5th album 'Arirang' will be released at 1 PM on the 20th of next month. The album contains 14 new songs that deal with universal emotions such as team identity, longing, and deep love. tsl@yna.co.kr youtube Watch on YouTube #BTS #Gwanghwamun Report
